The Petzl Volta 9.2mm Rope is an ultralight climbing rope for elite climbers on rock, ice, mixed, or snow environments. The rope is multi-standard, certified for use as a single, half, and twin. The ClimbReady coil allows the rope to be taken directly to the mountains right out of the package. The Volta features two treatments and a finish to boost its performance. The EverFlex treatment stabilizes the core strands and improves consistence for grip and handling and the Duratec Dry treatment resists dirt, water, and abrasion. The UltraSonic finish bonds together the core and sheath at the ends of the rope, providing durability and avoiding frayed ends. Spoiler Alert: Jon Snow would’ve totally wanted to use this rope on his big climb.
